Karan Johar’s ambitious project, Kalank’s teaser will be released in an hour. The team is already on its way to PVR Juhu,    for the launch of their film’s teaser. Kalank, starring Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt is a period drama, touted to be an eternal love story.

The makers had released the first look of film’s various characters a few days back. Varun as Zafar, Alia as Roop, Sonakshi as Satya, Madhuri as Bahaar Begum, Aditya as Dev Chaudhry and Sanjay Dutt as Balraj. The posters created a lot of buzz on social media.

For those who’ve come in late, late actress Sridevi was a part of this film and was supposed to essay the role of Bahaar Begum, now being played by Madhuri Dixit. Talking about stepping into the shoes of Sridevi, Madhuri, in an earlier interview had said, “What took time was to digest the whole thing that had happened. It was so shocking, I was like ‘you want me to do this role?’ because even they (filmmakers) were stuck. They had to go on. As a person, it was hard to deal. As an actor, you know the role, the script. It’s a different matter altogether. But to accept the truth was very difficult."

Post Sridevi's untimely demise, Janhvi Kapoor had also thanked Madhuri for taking up her mother’s role. She had posted on Instagram, "Abhishek Varman’s next film was very close to mom’s heart ...Dad, Khushi and I are thankful to Madhuriji for now being a part of this beautiful film."

The teaser is superb and is already creating a hysteria on social media. We sure fans can't wait for the film to hit theatres.
